RC Advisor Terms of Service

Operator, eligibility and acceptance

RC Advisor, operated by Shi Qi huang , an individual developer based in Zhejiang, China.

Contact: support@rcadvisorai.com. You must have authority to install/use RC Advisor for the merchant and accept these terms on its behalf, and be legally able to enter the agreement.

By installing or using RC Advisor, the merchant agrees to the Terms of Service and Data Protection Terms.

Service and Shopify dependencies

RC Advisor provides Shopify merchant catalog/mapping tools, compatibility and shopping recommendation assistance, and optional recommendation/conversion and attributed merchandise revenue analytics. Functionality depends on supported product knowledge, merchant configuration and available products.

The service depends on Shopify APIs, permissions, webhooks, theme/cart/checkout behavior and platform availability, as well as the disclosed infrastructure providers. Changes or outages can affect availability; no absolute uptime guarantee is made.

Merchant responsibilities

Use the service lawfully and comply with applicable Shopify requirements. Maintain accurate catalog/product/mapping information, appropriate privacy notices and consent settings, secure merchant account access, and test the merchant's own storefront and checkout before relying on the service.

The merchant is responsible for information and configuration it supplies, including catalog accuracy, product publication and mappings, reviewing stated conditions and manufacturer instructions/warnings, accurate product descriptions and legally required safety information, and final decisions to sell or recommend products. This does not transfer responsibility for RC Advisor-controlled software defects or excuse the operator from applicable obligations.

Do not misuse the service, attempt unauthorized access or provide unnecessary personal information, passwords or access tokens through support channels. These responsibilities do not waive mandatory customer or merchant statutory rights.

Recommendation Limitations

RC Advisor assists with product selection using documented compatibility knowledge, merchant and manufacturer information and Shopify product data. Recommendations are not safety certification, manufacturer approval or warranty, engineering approval, a substitute for manufacturer instructions, or a guarantee of fit, performance or safe use.

Verified fit refers to the supported combination and known conditions only. A conditional fit requires every stated requirement, including specified quantity, to be satisfied. Not compatible means the combination should not be used. Unknown, unsupported or conflicting information must not be treated as a positive recommendation.

RC Advisor does not control all third-party catalog and product information and cannot guarantee it is complete, current or error-free. Information may be incomplete, outdated or incorrect. Vehicle modifications and battery, voltage, connector, charger, installation and use conditions may fall outside the supported knowledge. Follow manufacturer instructions and seek human verification before purchase or use when uncertain; RC Advisor does not invent missing engineering specifications.

Use support@rcadvisorai.com for manual verification with only the RC model, SKU/variant, compatibility question and relevant modifications. Do not send credentials or payment details. Review depends on available evidence; no response-time promise or guaranteed approval is made. Support messages follow the Privacy Policy and Data Protection Terms.

Recommendation Questions, Corrections and Resolution

Questions and manual verification: if a recommendation is disputed, uncertain or contradicted by manufacturer information, pause reliance on it for purchase or installation and request manual verification at support@rcadvisorai.com. Provide only the RC model, product model/SKU or variant, recommendation result, relevant requirement, configuration/modifications and a short problem description. Do not send passwords, access tokens, identity documents or unnecessary personal information. Support communications follow the Privacy Policy and Data Protection Terms.

Review and correction: RC Advisor support reviews the available evidence. A disputed result is not newly verified merely because review is pending. If the original recommendation is confirmed correct, explain its supported basis and conditions. If confirmed incorrect, prioritize reasonable correction, supply the corrected compatible/not-compatible or unresolved result as the evidence supports, advise against continued reliance on the incorrect result, and assist in identifying an appropriate product where verified information permits. Do not invent a replacement recommendation when knowledge is insufficient.

Purchases already made: RC Advisor is not automatically the seller of physical products and does not claim authority to refund merchant transactions. Return, refund or replacement is normally processed by the merchant that sold the product, subject to its applicable policy and applicable law. RC Advisor can support compatibility verification and document a correction; not every product is necessarily refundable, and merchant policy does not override mandatory rights.

Reasonable steps to avoid further loss: once a recommendation is known or reasonably suspected to be incorrect, take reasonable steps to avoid preventable escalation, including verification and following displayed requirements and manufacturer instructions. If compatibility is in doubt, do not install or continue using the product pending verification where continued use could cause damage or safety risk. Responsibility for additional avoidable loss is assessed only to the extent caused or increased by the relevant acts or omissions. Failure to contact support does not automatically waive any rights, and continued use does not automatically remove RC Advisor's responsibility.

Manual review is not infallible: automated recommendations and manual conclusions may be corrected or revisited when new or conflicting information appears, including changed manufacturer specifications. Continue to follow manufacturer safety and instruction materials. There is no fixed response SLA or guaranteed approval. The service relationship is with RC Advisor and its operator, not an individual support worker.

Correction and residual rights: the normal first response is correction and reasonable resolution, including applicable return, refund or replacement through the selling merchant. A corrected recommendation does not by itself create a contractual penalty, predetermined fine or punitive payment, and correction alone neither establishes nor defeats legal liability. An error itself is distinct from substantiated additional loss, including equipment/property damage, personal injury or other direct loss, which remains subject to these Terms and applicable law. Practical resolution is encouraged, not an exclusive remedy or a mandatory prerequisite to exercising rights or reporting a safety issue; it does not postpone mandatory deadlines. Nothing excludes or limits rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Fees and intellectual property

No paid production billing model or subscription fee is finalized. Any future paid offer must disclose pricing and applicable terms before charges are authorized; this document does not invent a fee or authorize undisclosed billing.

The merchant retains its rights in its Shopify data and content. The operator and relevant licensors retain rights in their software and other materials to the extent they own them. Use of the service permits authorized access for its intended functions; it does not transfer ownership of merchant data or third-party material.

Privacy and third-party services

The Privacy Policy and Data Protection Terms describe processing, optional analytics, service providers, retention and rights workflows and form the privacy/data-protection part of the service terms.

Shopify is the commerce platform; hosting and email providers perform their described functions under their applicable terms. RC Advisor does not guarantee independent third-party services or characterize Shopify as its subprocessor in every context.

Availability, suspension and termination

The service may change as supported functionality or Shopify requirements change. Material terms changes will be made available with updated version/effective-date information. We do not promise an automated email notification system.

The operator may reasonably restrict or suspend service to address security risks, misuse or legal/platform requirements and, where practicable, explain the issue and restoration conditions. Merchants may stop using/uninstall the app. Termination and data handling follow the Privacy Policy and Data Protection Terms.

Responsibility boundary and limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided without a guarantee of uninterrupted availability or universally accurate recommendations. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Responsibility is assessed to the extent harm is caused by the relevant conduct: RC Advisor-controlled bugs remain the operator's responsibility under applicable law; inaccurate or stale merchant/manufacturer/Shopify information, changed manufacturer specifications, third-party API/platform failures, unsupported configurations or modifications, failure to satisfy stated requirements, or incorrect installation/use are evaluated according to their actual contribution. This is not a blanket exclusion for all recommendations or third-party data.

Nothing excludes or limits liability for intentional misconduct, gross negligence, personal injury or other liability or mandatory rights that applicable law does not permit to be excluded or limited.

Responsibility and any recoverable remedies are determined under applicable law and the relevant facts. These terms set no monetary liability cap, claim no insurance coverage and create no negotiated enterprise allocation. They do not limit non-waivable statutory rights.

Governing law, disputes and updates

The parties should first seek to resolve disputes through good-faith negotiation using support@rcadvisorai.com. These terms are governed by the applicable laws of the People's Republic of China, subject to mandatory applicable protections.

No exclusive court, venue or arbitration institution is designated. This clause does not guarantee legal enforceability in every jurisdiction.

These terms carry a version and prospective effective date. Material changes will be made available to merchants together with the Privacy Policy/Data Protection Terms. These terms apply prospectively from the stated effective date.
